iPhone 4 Sold Well, Sold Out 1.7 Million Just in 3 Days

Apple’s new sales record for products teranyarnya, iPhone 4. Within three days, the gadgets are reported to have sold out as many as 1.7 million units.

In its official statement, Apple CEO Steve Jobs said that iPhone is the fourth most successful product ever marketed them. Previous iPhone model, 3G and 3GS, both also sold more than one million units within three days after its release.

“Nevertheless, we apologize for the customers who turned away because we do not have enough supply,” added Jobs.

This was the second time Apple apologized for problems related to the iPhone 4. Two weeks ago, they apologized for their online booking system could collapse due to too many orders for the iPhone 4.

Quoted from Computerworld, Tuesday (29/06/2010), sales reached 1.7 million units this fourth iPhone pre-orders, including orders that reached 600 thousand units.

Brian Marshall, BroadPoint AmTech analyst, predicts Apple may actually sell more iPhones 4 if only they were not hindered the lack of supply of product components.

He also projected that, Apple will be able to sell 8.8 million iPhone units of all types to the end of this June, and 10.75 million units by the end of September.
